Awesome newsletter! I love the articles about psychometry and crystals, and about TonyJ!

Hands down, my favorite thing to do is inquire about it's "home" or usual location. This can often be a gateway into a quick "remote view", to see the surroundings from the object's point of view. For example, a necklace pendant may show you the dresser and bedroom of where it "lives", or a car key giving information about the kind of car it is used in. I once had an old license plate and got a great image of a 1940's blue trick, racing down a dirt road through a cornfield.

My favorite questions to ask of the object are to show the most poignant memory shared with the owner or how it was acquired. For example, a ribbon has shown that it was actually part of a prize ribbon, won during an equestrian tournament. A t-shirt may reveal that it is only worn during certain sporting matches.

Another favorite of mine to ask is about the energies that the owner has imparted to it. For example, of a wedding band that I asked this line of inquiry of, I received "sadness about a sudden trauma, accident of the wife that caused her passing."

So not only can you get information about the object itself, but you can use it as a "gateway" so to speak, to gain other information as well.

This can be an invaluable extra tool to use, for those sitters that come and just say "general reading please" when it's obvious they have something on their mind! It can help you hone in and focus on a message that your divination tools are trying to explain. For me at least, the more specific the question you ask, the more specific the details and answer that I can get for you. So it's an added "boost" to help get everything situated nicely. (But mostly it's just kind of a cool factor =P)
